Tip. Everything runs locally in your browser — nothing you type is ever sent to a server. Large integers of any length are supported, along with negative numbers and decimals. For Korean, try the "All styles" option to compare the native (고유어) and Sino-Korean (한자어) readings side by side. Some highly informal or dialectal readings (for example, certain day-of-month readings in Japanese) are simplified for consistency.
How to use this tool
- Enter one number per line in the box on the left — the format depends on the mode (a plain number, a phone number, a time like 14:30, a date like 2026-09-30, etc.).
- Pick a "Mode" (cardinal, ordinal, phone/account number, time, date, or currency) and, where available, a "Style" (for example Sino vs. native Korean, or standard vs. formal).
- Click "Convert" (or just wait — it also updates automatically as you type) to see the reading on the right, one line per input line.
- "Copy" or "Download result" to grab the converted text.
- Everything happens in your browser — nothing you enter is sent to a server.
Related tips
- For Korean, native-style (고유어) numbers only exist for 0–99 — larger native-range requests automatically fall back to the Sino-Korean (한자어) reading.
- "Formal" / "大写" / "大字" styles are the anti-fraud number forms traditionally used on checks, invoices, and legal documents in East Asia.
- This tool only converts numbers to words for reading purposes — it doesn't perform currency conversion between different currencies.
