Tip. This tool only highlights syntax for readability — it does not check whether your code compiles or runs correctly. Pick the language that matches your code for the most accurate coloring; if you're not sure, "Plain text" simply shows the code as-is. This tool bundles the open-source Prism.js library (MIT License) locally, so highlighting still happens entirely in your browser.
How to use this tool
- Paste your source code into the input box on the left.
- Pick the "Language" that matches your code (Java, C#, Python, Go, and more) for accurate highlighting.
- Click "Highlight" (or just wait — it also updates automatically as you type) to see the colored result on the right.
- "Copy" or "Download result" to grab the highlighted output, or the original text.
- Everything happens in your browser — your code is never sent to a server.
Related tips
- This tool only adds syntax coloring for readability — it doesn't compile, run, lint, or validate your code in any way.
- If a language isn't listed or the highlighting looks off, try the closest related language, or use "Plain text".
