These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Formix (the "Site") and the tools it provides. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. Description of the service
Formix provides free, browser-based utilities (such as the JSON Formatter and XML Formatter) that run entirely on the client side. No account is required, and no fee is currently charged for using the tools.
3. User responsibilities
You agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose, or to process content that is illegal, infringing, or harmful to others.
- Attempt to disrupt the Site's operation, including through excessive automated requests, scraping at a scale that degrades service for others, or attempts to bypass security measures.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Site except as permitted by applicable law.
4. Intellectual property
The Site's design, code, layout, and branding are the property of the Site operator unless otherwise noted. Since the tools process your input entirely in your browser and never transmit it to our servers, you retain all rights to the data you enter — we make no claim to it.
5. Disclaimer of warranty
The Site and its tools are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. While we aim for correctness, you are responsible for verifying any output (such as formatted JSON or XML) before relying on it for important or production use.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or its tools.
7. Changes to the service
We may add, modify, or discontinue any tool or feature of the Site at any time, with or without notice.
8. Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Significant changes will be noted on our What's New page.
